Northing creates possibilities of head-on communication and collaboration between Norwegian artists and their colleagues in East-Asia.

Northing has three major functions: the exhibition venue Northing Space, the art book publisher and design studio Kinakaal, and the tiny art and design bookshop Elephanten. Northing is developing a bookmaking workshop, and more cultural and educational functions in the coming years.
