Digital signal takes its name from a record shop that existed in Nygårdsgaten in Bergen in 1997. The shop served as both a retail space and a hang-out for electronic music enthusiasts and related art forms. Digital signal is in line with this context, where artists are invited to work live with Lydgalleriet's custom-built speaker system, made from recycled sound art projects, providing Bergen's most delightful sound.
