Sofia Jernberg is an experimental vocalist, composer, improviser and performer. As a vocalist, she is deeply interested in exploring the instrumental possibilities of the voice. Her vocabulary includes sounds and techniques that often defy conventional singing style, such as wordless vocals, and split-tone, off-tone, and distortion singing.
