Max is a visual programming language for music and multimedia creation, often used by composers, performers, software designers, researchers and artists to create recordings, performances and installations.
5 day Max 7 introduction: Its' easy graphical environment allows to connects objects with virtual cables to create interactive sounds, graphics, and custom effects.This workshop will introduce the basics of audio processing, sound synthesis and MIDI in a graphical environment such as Max.
The course will be run by artist and composer Arthur Hureau, who operates between DIY engineering and contemporary music. His research mixes sciences, socio-political issues and new technologies.
