After 8 years as gallery director, Julie Lillelien Porter has departed to begin in a new position as artistic co-ordinator of the cultural centre Nordover in Longyearbyen, Svalbard. The gallery's board and staff wish to thank Julie for the great contribution she has made during her period as leader and we wish her great success in her new role.

Sasha Azanova is engaged as interim manager of the gallery until July 31st.

Lydgalleriet is now looking for a new director to further develop our programme of sound based art over the next four years. Starting date 1st. August 2025. See full job description (Norwegian only).
