Jørgen Larsson

Jørgen Larsson started and led two pioneering institutions in Bergen; Bergen Centre for Electronic Art (BEK) in 2000 and Lydgalleriet in 2007. In 2018 Larsson's book 'Håndbok for lydarbeid i visningsrom' wa published. Currently he is collection curator of The Grieg Art Collection and exhibition curator at Oseana Art and Culture Centre in Os, Norway

Alwynne Pritchard is a British performer, composer, artist and curator based in Bergen, Norway. She has also developed choreography for performances of her own pieces. She is co-founder of the music-theatre company Neither Nor and former artistic director of the BIT20 ensemble.

On Friday 8th December, it is time for Lydgalleriet's Christmas soirée with paper instruments, broken phones and an ambisonic world premiere.

Lydgalleriet invites to a soirée with an ambitious world premiere by American composer Jeff Carey. In Blueshift, he brings into use the spatial possibilities that lie in ambisonic technology with 14 speakers.

Presenting Bjørnar Habbestad and Jørgen Larsson have brought along phone remains from the TelArt project, which recently visited Article - Biennale for Electronic and Unstable Art, along with a AV sequencer HC Gilje, Lise Herland's sound installation Ketchup and Mustard, and Alwynne Prichard's Christmas paper piece Wrap.
