Hilde Hauan Johnsens artistic work includes textiles and new technology with an interest in fibre weaving and archiving of landscapes. Her art installations use fibre optics, a technology where light pulses is sent through thin, transparent fibres of plastic with a glass core, and plant-dying, an ancient knowledge on weaving and plant life.
