Together with BEK, Lydgalleriet organises a two day workshop in creative speaker building. Artist Roar Sletteland and acoustic engineer Paal Rasmussen (NRF) demonstrate possibilities for using loudspeakers in artistic work and how to make your own custom-built speaker.
Aesthetics, engineering and purpose come together in this practical workshop. You will gain insight in how speakers work, as well as the possibilities and limitations of loudspeakers in an artistic context. Those who wish may start constructing a speaker for use in their own project.
