(u)forstyrret: ii: Reisen starter allerede på bakken er et lydverk som undersøker lydforurensning og hvordan mennesker påvirkes av lydene som konstant omgir oss. Verket er satt sammen av flere små kollasjer med lyder som er stedsspesifikke. Reisen starter allerede på bakken er verkets andre sats og består av lyder tatt opp på Bergen lufthavn Flesland. Kollasjen er satt sammen for å undersøke i hvilken grad de høyfrekvente lydene man hører på en flyplass påvirker de som reiser og arbeider der. (u)forstyrret: ii: Reisen starter allerede på bakken er kuratert responsivt til Servet Koçyiğits installasjon UNCHARTED og Benjamin Gerdes videoverk Connecting the world takes every one of us i salene oppe på Kunsthall 3.14.

Emily Adomah er sanger, produsent og komponist med arbeid som varierer fra samtidskomposisjoner og lydkunst, til hennes soloprosjekt hvor hun lager eksperimentell elektronisk popmusikk. Hun henter inspirasjon fra natur, stjerner og det utenomjordiske, og er dypt fascinert av skjæringspunktet mellom mennesker, lyd og miljø.

PARABOL er et samarbeid med Kunsthall 3.14 der Lydgalleriet velger ut et lydverk til den parabolske høyttaleren plassert i Kunsthall 3.14s inngangsparti. PARABOL har et spesielt fokus på soniske verk som komplimenterer utstillingene i overetasjen ved å by på alternative ytringsformer.

(un)disturbed: ii: The journey starts on the ground by Emily Adomah is a work that examines sound pollution and how humans are affected by the sounds that constantly surround us. The piece is composed from site-specific recordings at Bergen Airport Flesland in order to investigate the extent to which high-frequency sounds heard at an airport affect those who travel and work there. (un)disturbed: ii: The journey starts on the ground is curated in response to Servet Koçyiğit’s installation UNCHARTED and Benjamin Gerde’s video work Connecting the world takes every one of us.  

Emily Adomah is a singer, producer and composer whose work varies from contemporary compositions and sound art, to her solo project where she makes experimental electronic pop music. She draws inspiration from nature, stars and the extraterrestrial, and is deeply fascinated by the intersection between people, sound and the environment.

PARABOL is a collaboration with Kunsthall 3.14, where Lydgalleriet selects a sound work for the parabolic loudspeaker sited in Kunsthall 3.14's entrance hall. PARABOL has a particular focus on sonic commissions and edits and offers a mode of address complementing the exhibitions in the main upstairs spaces.
