Som en del av Borealisfestivalen 2010 presenterer vi Gerhard Eckels stykke "Catabolizer".

Stykket er en høyttalerinstallasjon som mates på konserter som spilles i utstillingsområdet. Konsertens lyd er registrert og tygget, fordøyd, omstrukturert og omfordelt til høyttalerne som en metabolsk installasjon.

As part of the Borealis Festival 2010, we present Gerhard Eckel's piece "Catabolizer". 

The piece is a speaker installation which feeds on concerts played in the exhibition space. The sound of the concerts is recorded  and chewed, digested, restructured and redistributed into the speakers as a metabolistic installation.
